Come join us for a relaxing time in God's wonderful creation! Enjoy worship, fellowship, games, and challenges from God's Word. Stay for the day or bring your tent, trailer, or motor home to our private group site at Manchester State Park, located on the beautiful Puget Sound! See our main church website's Family Camp page for pics from past years! (And don't miss the beloved Ice Cream Sundae Extravaganza on Friday night! See schedule below.)

Family Camp Splash

** CAMP FEES **

Day-Only:  $5/person with a $25/family max (includes all days of camp) (see park entrance fee below *)
Overnight Tent:  $15/person with a $75/family maximum (includes all days of camp)
Overnight Camper/RV:  $5/person with a $25/family maximum (includes all days of camp), PLUS $35 per night for RV/Camper with hookup... or $30 per night for RV/Camper without hookup.


*  Above fees include all days of camp. You do NOT pay the fee per night (other than RV rates). No further discount if you only stay part of the time.
* Include infants in your registration. (We pay for every person in the camp.)
*  Day-only guests must also have a Day Pass ($10) or the annual Discovery Pass ($30) to enter the park. Pass can be purchased at park entrance or online in advance if you do not already have one.
* The park does not require overnight guests to have a Discover or Day Pass. Simply tell the ranger at the gate that you are staying overnight with Discovery Baptist Church.
* All attendees (both day guests and over-nighters) need to pay the camp fees listed above regardless of whether they already own a Discover Pass. The "Familiy Camp Fees" cover the costs to reserve the group site and run Family Camp.

See the Family Camp fees above and make your payment online before you come. NOTE: maximum 130 over-night campers. First-come, first-served. (Max 12 RV hookups. Space reservation given in the order payments are received.)
Payment:  Pay online via church Giving Page (or by check in the offering box with your check marked "Family Camp"). Your space is not reserved until payment is received.

** LAST-MINUTE DETAILS **

~ Weather is currently forecasted to be beautiful and in the _________ with plenty of sunshine! Bring sunscreen, towels, and swimming clothes in case it's hot.
~ Fires are currently allowed in pits and grills! (As of June ___.)
~ RVs, please park on the outside ends of the parking lot so we can have better visibility in the center area.
~ Showers run off tokens (3 minutes of hot water per token; purchase at park entrance). Cold water runs all day for free (and may come in very handy if it's hot).
~ Bring games to play and share!
~ Large paved parking. Bring bikes/scooters/skateboards for kids. (Note: no riding after dark.)
~ Pray for God to make this our best family camp ever!

6:45 -  Ice Cream Sundae Extravaganza (bring toppings to share; ice cream provided)
7:30 -   Song worship, Devotion (Clare Jewell) (“The Trade,” Mk 10:17-22; Mk 5:1-13)
10:00 -  Quiet Time

Saturday

Anytime -  Breakfast/lunch (on your own)
9:30 -  Song worship & devotion
10-5p -  Free time
1:00 -  Kids games (TBD)
3:30 -  Beachcombing expedition
6:00 -  Dinner (bring your own) together under pavilion
7:00 -  Song worship & devotion
8:00 -  Bring your own s’mores & desserts to share (group fire pit)
Dark -  Flashlight hike for kids
10:00 -  Quiet time

Sunday

Anytime -  Breakfast (on your own)
9:30a -  Song worship & devotion
10:00 -  Free Time, pack up, snack lunch
1:00 -  Check out and enjoy the park for the rest of the day!

Family Camp DinnerThis private, group campsite accommodates up to 130 people ("first-come, first-served"). There are 12 RV hookups for water and electric as well as over-flow parking for the other vehicles. We are not allowed to park on the main lawn, but overflow parking is available on the grass along side the perimeter road of this group site.

Family Camp Bike RideThere are full restrooms with shower facilities (2 single, unisex restrooms), a group fire pit, and 5 fire pits that are alongside the 5 picnic tables. It also has a sizable pavilion (with power) and a horseshoe pit. The side yard can accommodate more tents as well as any games families want to bring. (Volleyball will be set up.)

There will be games for the kids and adults (that still think they are kids). The final schedule will post shortly before camp.
